Healing and Restoration
The testimony below is from a man who contacted our ministry for inner healing and deliverance. He eventually elected to continue to receive mentoring to be able to grow deeper in his relationship with the Father and with Jesus.
"During a season when I was struggling with the weight of past sin, [a ministry team member] came alongside me and helped guide me through a process of healing and restoration. He walked with me patiently and pointed me back to God’s truth, helping me grow deeper in my personal relationship with God and in my walk with Jesus Christ.
Through [his] wisdom, guidance, and willingness to speak truth with grace, I was able to confront areas of my life that I had been carrying for a long time. That process helped me truly repent, experience God’s forgiveness, and continue moving forward in freedom from that sin.
As my relationship with God grew stronger, it also began to transform other areas of my life. It had a meaningful impact on my marriage, helping me grow as a husband and bringing greater honesty, healing, and strength into our relationship.

Physical Healing – Incurable Brain Condition
One of our team members recently prayed for someone who requested prayer for pain in their brain. They had seen a neurologist and had diagnostic scans performed, including an MRI. They were told that the pain was the result of an issue with their brain which could not be resolved medically. After praying the person was given standard post-prayer suggestions. This included being alert to the fact that the enemy may try to “steal” their healing by re-inflicting symptoms in an effort to convince them that they had not been healed. They were reminded that they have the authority to rebuke those symptoms in Jesus’ name. After a few days the team member followed up and received the testimony below:
"On Sunday after church, I felt the pain rising up and I rebuked it in the name of Jesus. Throughout Sunday night, when I laid down for bed… I remained in a light sleep and felt the pain trying to arise at least 30 plus times, but each time I rebuked it, the pain would descend down and exit out of my body. It felt like the pain was literally bowing down to Jesus.
On Monday, the pain attempted to come through, but not like Sunday night at all. Maybe about 15 times for the entire day.
On Tuesday, there were significantly less attempts, maybe around 10 in total. So, Tuesday night I was listening to a Dr. Charles Stanley sermon and I was reminded about God’s sovereignty in all things and at all times. I went into fervent prayer until I fell asleep. I felt a shift in the atmosphere.
This morning, I woke up feeling the Holy Spirit hovering over me. I felt like people were also praying for me. That’s what was revealed from the Holy Spirit. I have felt 0 pain today. Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
After you . . . prayed for me, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit that Sunday for hours upon hours. I felt a joyful reward for obediently acting on what the Holy Spirit told me to do. He gave me tears of joy for short periods throughout the rest of the day and I haven’t cried about this hurdle, ever. From the time the neurologist explained the MRI results to me, the Lord has been close to me, he never left my side! I am grateful!
During this healing journey of faith, the Lord has told me to move forward with certain things and to step in directions that I have not understood in my own strength or human understanding, but I know there are finite and infinite rewards for obedience.
God is so good!

Emotional Healing - Painful Memory
We recently met with someone who, among other things, was seeking resolution of a painful memory relating to one of their parents. The key to healing of memories is connecting the person with Jesus, preferably before letting Him lead them to that memory. Jesus is the One Who heals memories. The person had difficulty envisioning Jesus, but we felt led to invite them to return to that painful event nonetheless. As they connected with the memory, we invited them to tell the parent how they had been affected and the pain that they experienced, which they did. We then reminded them that Jesus is a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3) and the pain that He experienced and the wounds that He bore were not His, but ours. We then invited them to give their pain to Jesus, even envisioning pressing their wounds into His. After praying, the person said that they had had a breakthrough - they could envision Jesus and His wounds as they pressed theirs into His! We then led them in a prayer of forgiveness toward the parent for full release and resolution of the event. God is good and He is faithful!!

Emotional Healing and Deliverance - Rejection
Members of our team recently met with a man who shared details of a painful experience from childhood. He referred to it as his “core wound. Although we envisioned a different direction during the meeting, the Holy Spirit directed us otherwise. We led him to a prayer encounter during which he envisioned Jesus with him during that painful experience. We encouraged him to surrender the emotional pain that he felt to Jesus. He said that when he did, he envisioned Jesus reaching into his chest and pulling out of his heart a red and black mass. Jesus then threw it to the ground and crushed it underfoot. The dead and diseased part of his heart had been removed, leaving only the healthy, living parts! We told him that this reflected Exekiel 11:19 - “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.”
We then led him to tear down walls of rejection, since spirits of rejection can gain influence through a painful experience of rejection. After he read through the four-part prayer to tear down the walls of rejection, he said that he felt as though a tightness in his chest had risen to his head and exited out the back of his head.
As a final step, we invited him to forgive those who had been involved in that painful experience. Using a simple prayer of forgiveness, he quietly named several people to whom he extended forgiveness and released from any desire for revenge or retribution.
God always shows us the perfect path to take so that Jesus can bind up the broken-hearted. The future is much brighter for this man after his recent encounter with Jesus!

Emotional Healing - Depression
This is a testimony provided by someone who has received personal ministry from Restoring Wholeness. God is faithful!
"Before receiving personal ministry, my marriage was in shambles the future of which was unclear. Years of hidden depression, the extent of which grew quite severe and, after years of rebellion, a spiritual relationship with God was almost non-existent. To say I was nearing the end of my rope would be an understatement. I felt as if I had dug a pit at the beach, and upon trying to climb back out the walls started to collapse in on me. I did not see very much, if anything, in my future.
After a few sessions and truly making a genuine effort to embrace and make use of the knowledge and resources that were made available to me, I truly feel as if a hand reached down and pulled me out of my crumbling pit. Upon rebuilding my life to be centered around God, my marriage is stronger than it has ever been. The way I view not only myself but others has changed; the depression is almost non-existent.
I am continuing to work on and grow a deeper relationship with the Lord. This ministry, along with the help of God, has been a saving grace for myself and my marriage. It has helped me see the love that the heavenly Father has for me."

Physical Healing – Trauma
A person requested prayer for healing of chronic, severe constipation. An interview revealed that the person experienced a physical trauma right before the onset of the condition. The Holy Spirit indicated that the two were connected and that physical healing would come after dealing with the trauma. Prayer ministry followed the steps of ensuring that emotional wounds from the trauma were healed, casting out the spirits or trauma, infirmity, etc., and commanding physical healing at the cellular level in Jesus’ name. During the prayer time, the recipient connected with Jesus and envisioned that He Himself laid hands on them.
The next day, the person reported, “Well, after rebuking, commanding, praying, massaging and walking I had success this morning!! Yay God!! Thanks for the prayer last night! It was very powerful and effective!! God is good!!”
A couple of weeks later, the person gave an update. “Things have been better, but still needed some ‘help’ a few times. Is there a good time that we can talk?” When we connected that evening, the person estimated that they were 75% healed. We thanked God for what He had done thus far, asked Him for more, and commanded a complete healing in Jesus’ name.
A few days later, the person shared “I had [someone else] pray for me yesterday. And yes, I’m going pretty much every day now! Wow!!”
God is faithful!

Physical and Emotional Healing - Arm Pain
A woman requested prayer for pain in her arm just above her elbow. She said that she had that pain in that location only once before, which was right after her first husband’s death, and a friend to whom she had been ministering recently passed away unexpectedly. As she shared the story, the Holy Spirit gave me the word “responsibility.” I asked if she felt as though she could in any way be responsible for their deaths, even if she felt that if she had just done something more or something differently, it might have prevented their deaths. She agreed that she did. We prayed for her to give that sense of responsibility to Jesus and receive His complete acceptance in its place. I then commanded the pain to go. She was pain-free by the time she left the building and has remained pain-free. This is an example of something that manifested in the realm of the physical which had its origin in the realm of the soul.
Emotional Healing - In Utero Prayer
A person receiving ministry was dealing with a variety of spiritual and emotional issues and addictive behavior, some of which could have had their origin during the pregnancy. We walked through an in utero prayer (prayer while the person was in the womb) by month. Since the person had been prematurely, there was no ninth month for which to pray. When we prayed through the delivery, they shared that they envisioned Jesus dancing in the Delivery Room. After being taken to the neonatal intensive care unit, the person shared that Jesus was also dancing in the unit. I told them that this was a representation of what is written in Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV) - "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” This greatly encouraged the person and helped them to feel more secure in Jesus' love and acceptance.
Physical Healing - Bulging Discs and Degenerative Disc Disease
A woman asked for prayer for healing of bulging discs and degenerative disc disease. We were not able to meet in person, so we prayed from a distance. A couple of weeks later, she shared, "I feel your prayers. I'm noticing that I'm not in pain on a constant basis. It does hurt if I do my daily chores or if I'm standing too long. I have to take a lot of breaks during the day. I'm still believing with you that I'm healed by His stripes!" A few months later, she gave an update. "GOOD NEWS! I am totally healed! I just finished a whole weekend of watching my 6 year old grandson with no back pain at all! This was unheard of for years. I've gone food shopping and doing chores at home with no pain! I'm so excited that I can't stop smiling. . . Thank you and Thank you Jesus!"
Emotional Healing and Deliverance - Root of Rejection
A man requested ministry for a root of rejection. After gathering information on his background over a few meetings, we worked through a prayer to tear down walls of rejection. This prayer involved repentance, renunciation and casting out various aspects of a spirit of rejection. When we met again a couple of weeks later, he stated that he realized that he wasn't responding to situations defensively, as if he was perceiving rejection. This was a change for him, indicating that he had been set from from a spirit of rejection.
A woman whose pre-Christian behavior seemed to be based in rejection also prayed the prayer. She reported the same results, i.e., that she no longer felt rejected whenever someone would disagree with her. She had also been set free from a spirit of rejection!
Finally, a third person who prayed through the same prayer commented the next day, “I feel really good. I feel so much freer!”
Physical and Emotional Healing and Deliverance - PTSD
A man who was receiving emotional healing and deliverance ministry exhibited symptoms of PTSD. His background included being a passenger in a car that was involved in a fatal collision. We followed the eight-step prayer for healing of PTSD taught by Dr. Michael Hutchings of Global Awakening. After praying through the prayer, he shared that during the prayer ministry he vividly recalled every moment that led up to and included the collision, but that the memory faded until it was completely gone. Soon thereafter, he said that he previously would be overcome with fear of a collision on occasion while driving, but that he had been completely free of such episodes since receiving prayer.
As a note - healing of PTSD involves healing of a person's entire being. There is physical healing because trauma is stored in the body at the cellular level. There is emotional healing because of the potential fear, shame, guilt and condemnation that the person carries. There is spiritual deliverance because the spirit of trauma can enter during that brief moment when defenses are down during the traumatic event.
Physical Healing - Bladder Cancer
A lady was referred for prayer for a rare form of bladder cancer. She received prayer on three different occasions. The first time, she felt the power of God flow through her body for about ten minutes, after which she believed that she had been healed. Even so, the doctors wanted to perform another diagnostic procedure. She returned for prayer and again experienced the presence of God. We were led to cast our the spirit of cancer, at which time she fell to the floor and rested in God's presence. Even though the procedure found no cancer, the doctors recommended chemotherapy. She returned for prayer and we prayed against side effects from the chemotherapy, declaring Mark 16:18 over her - ". . . when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all." As the lady went through her chemotherapy treatments, she experienced no side effects and is now cancer-free!
Physical Healing - Migraines
A lady requested prayer for healing of her frequent migraines which had been afflicting her for over 20 years. This was another time when distance prevented praying in person. After praying from a distance, I followed up several days later, and she said, "Well... I haven't had one for two weeks...!" I asked whether she would have had a migraine within a two week period. She replied, "I have in the past but not recently.....!!" Two weeks later after another follow-up she stated, "[I'm] even doing very well!!! Only mild tension headaches.... no migraines!!!" A week later she shared the same good report - no migraines!
Physical Healing through Word of Knowledge - Shoulder
While attending a conference, I envisioned someone’s shoulder as if I was standing behind them. It was the back portion of the right shoulder shaped somewhat like a triangle. That portion of the body was perfectly clear while the rest of the person was as if they were out of focus. It seemed as though there was a problem with a person's shoulder that God wanted to heal. I was given the opportunity to share that word of knowledge and, when I did, a young man stood in response. Several people around him laid hands on him to pray. When I spoke with him later, he said that as he stood, heat came into the shoulder, removing the pain and restoring his range of motion!
Deliverance - Freedom from Spiritual Torment
A man shared that he felt as though he was being tormented spiritually. It reminded him of the torment that someone with whom he'd been in relationship with had tried to describe. Sensing that there were some ungodly soul ties lingering from this relationship, we severed the soul ties and cancelled the assignment of the spirits that were taking advantage of that spiritual connection. The next day, he related that he had had a perfectly normal day free from torment, and has continued in that freedom!
