Giving is at the heart of the Kingdom of God. We read in John 3:16 (NIV), “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. . .” and in Matthew 20:28 (NIV), “. . . the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” God the Father and Jesus have demonstrated giving to us as an example.
Restoring Wholeness Ministries believes that a Christian’s tithe is to go to their local body of believers to support the ministry and as an expression of gratitude for what they receive there. Some people may also be led to financially support other ministries with offerings that are in addition to their tithes.
